Four Elements Spread

This reading is inspired by the First Operation, a method of reading associated with the Golden Dawn, included in the Oracle of the Tarot by Paul Foster Case. I learned about it in Holistic Tarot, by Benebell Wen, and have adapted it for this spread. In this reading, you and I will chose a Significator Card, a card the represents you, and shuffle it into the deck. I will divide the deck into four piles, one representing each element - Fire, Water, Air and Earth. The pile that holds your Significator will reveal what subconscious needs are currently influencing you in this moment. Needs you may not be aware of may surface. We will look at the cards surrounding your Significator, then we will ask five questions of the cards regarding how you can address this subconscious need
